Mental Health and Counselling
Who it is for
Patients experiencing stress, anxiety, low mood, grief, or other mental health concerns, as well as those who want support maintaining their wellbeing. Care is available across the lifespan.
How to access this service
Speak with your Primary Care provider, who can connect you to the right level of support, or ask our team directly. We will help you find the most appropriate care, whether at Generations Medical Centre or with a trusted partner.
Become a patient
What it costs
Mental health care provided by your Primary Care team and covered programs is funded by OHIP. Some counselling or psychotherapy services may have different coverage, and we will explain this in advance.
What is included
- Assessment and short-term individual counselling.
- Group-based programming such as psychotherapy and skill-building sessions.
- Coordination with your Primary Care provider as part of one care plan.
- Referral and connection to community mental health and crisis services when more intensive support is needed.
